Truly, could a comedy writer come up with better than what the Republican Party is offering up for public review?  I can't think how.  Honestly, the writers for late night TV and Comedy Central must be working half-days due to what the Republican's are giving out for public consumption.

Here's a few:

Rick Perry:  Sorry.  Oops.  Damn, I know there's an agency I can eliminate and add to the unemployed seeking employment line, but damned if I can remember who those 16,000 professionals might be.

Herman Cain:  I respect women.  See, my wife and children say so.  But I've forgotten how to address a member of the House of Represenative's with respect so for now I'll just call House Democrat "princess."  Ya'll know what I mean.

Damn, this visit to Florida is turning out to be not so "delicioso."

Lib'ya? Don ya jus luv'ya some Pizza?

Michele Bachmann:  Wait, wait, wait, I know I got it here somewhere.  Elvis died on his birthday?  He was re-born on the day he died? All these facts are so confusing.  He died and he was born, alright!  Enough said.

John Wayne Gacey was a bad, bad, bad guy and he killed himself, isn't that right?  I mean didn't John Wayne always get the bad guy?

Very sorry to you black folks.  I am so bad with fractions.  We will count every three out of your five votes instead of counting you 3/5 of one person.  Damn it Jefferson I told you to put all that "slavery" stuff in italics.  How can I be expected to do math and talk at the same time.

I'm not a Republican, but I still hang my head in shame that the United States could produce such a plethora of candidates unready for public view, much less the highest office in the land.

Please support the advertisers whose fees for making using of my blog page make it possible for my blog, and blogs by anyone else, to contribute to public debate. I do not need the minimal income generated by your "clicking through" these ads to support myself. However, I could never afford the expense of supporting such a blog site on my own and your viewing those advertising sponsors' messages does make this forum available to all. These ads are no security risk to your computer or your privacy for multiple reasons. First, I have absolute and total control over what ads and advertisers appear on my blog. I have nothing to gain from your visiting an advertisers site and finding as a result that your computer is infected or your privacy infringed upon. Second, these ads are placed and serviced by a reputable sales organization - AdSense. They would quickly go out of business if readers who click through the ads they place on this blog became the least bit dissatisfied by the results. Finally, Google and Blogspot.com have nothing to gain from damaging your computer or infringing on your privacy and everything to lose if they do.
