Dallas Morning News - Letter To The Editor - Harold Copperman - Even Idiots like you yave a voice

Rating for this letter:  Uninformed Propaganda
Author:  Harold Copperman, Richardson
"Rules of thumb"

I quote in the following your exact works so that I may accurately reflect the lack of thought you expended prior to sending your comments to the Dallas Morning News.  Mr. Copperman, you are to the Dallas Morning News' letters to the editor section what Marshal Petain was to occupied France during WWII.  Someone standing outside looking in and commenting on the actions of those affected, while oblivious of your comments assistance to those who would excuse the conditions within.

Let us examine your comments, line by line. My comments in blue, following yours in red.

Some words of wisdom:

You're a presumptuous fool Mr. Copperman.  Wisdom is only proven after-the fact and for you to presume you have some wisdom to dispose to the ignorant, assuming you mean those you have identified in your mind, but not stated for our examination, is absolute evidence that you speak from the pulpit of the self-righteous.  Please give us your complete curriculum vitae so that we can judge on our own your self-attributed wisdom  Or, did you in fact plagiarize your comments and are like every intellectual thief, unwilling to reveal the source of your so-called wisdom.  Based on your comments, I find the latter improbable as I can not find any source for similar comments from any other authority that are similar to your ramblings.  I therefore say to you, you are a mindless cretin who has tasted but little form the Pierian springs of knowledge and you need to make several more return trips thereto in order to drink deeper so that you might recognize just how little "wisdom" you have and may ascribe to your comments.

In short, you are an idiot with a voice, which though published by the DMN does nothing to increase your standing to the points that your very words may be considered wisdom.  Nothing in what you say moves past he point of campaign blurbs such as those of the fascist Republican right.  You may in fact convince some weak minded individuals by your "short and sweet" attempts at inserting yourself into the likes of "Poor Richard's Almanac" or the sweet, concise brevity of Benjamin Franklin, but what may really be understood from your letter is the depth of your ignorance and the height of your ego.

You think yourself both wise and cute.  In truth your comments only serve to reflect how little you care about the poor, the unemployed, giving without taking, or multiplying wealth by dividing it. So, I will herein expose you for the Republican Fascist apologist that you are.

Here we go.
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

The only group trying to legislate the poor into prosperity are individuals like yourself and the Republican Party right-wing through redefining the meaning of "poor;" something which has been consistently and well-defined by the U.S Government standards that have not changed for over 50 years, with the exception of "cost of living" increases applied to all categories of income earners measured by the U.S. census.  Individuals such as you wish to change the yardstick by which all income groups are measured.  But your attempts to justify the fact that the wealthy have not become wealthier while the poor have become poorer, when using the same yardstick are not being accepted as truth anymore by those living the existence of what it means to be really poor.  Your words of wisdom are an excuse for your current self-righteous view of yourself as the an unbiased but wise individual looking in but not part of your own observation.  You're a hypocrite Copperman for suggesting that anyone has changed their view of what makes one poor or what what makes one wealthy has done so with the aid of guidelines for each category which have not changed. You would have us believe that the make up of each group has only changed because  we passed laws to  make it possible for person in one group to move to another group with the aid of legislation when in fact, the only effect of legislation has been to move the markers and not help the poor as a group jump from the poor to the middle-class, thence to the prosperous.  The demographics don't support the white wash of the fact you mean to assert through your words of wisdom.  I wish I could say that I pity those such as yourself yo participate and promote the "big lie" put forth by those who have now but who will soon "have not" because the greed of those few who have the most is never going to be that they have enough and soon enough, they will cast their eyes on what is now yours and deem you to be unworthy of it and then take it from you.

Then Mr. Copperman, you will feel the sting of being among the poor.  But, because of your current excuses and foolish belief that you are one of those who are prosperous because of your own merit and wisdom,  you will soon join the poor because the greed of the "prosperous" is never satisfied and there will be no one left to speak for you because the impoverished have no voice.

For myself, I have moved my assets and income beyond the reach of the likes of you and the 1% you believe yourself to be amongst.  I will feel no pity on you when the "words of wisdom" your serve us now are dealt back to you in the "beggar's bowl" of the poor whom you feel so little in common with now.
